Private Lessons
This is a personalized approach where you will work 1 on 1 with a trainer. These lessons will be tailored to the specific training your dog needs.
Board and Train
We will do all the training for you. We not only do family protection training, but complete on and off leash obedience training as well. This is an 8-week program. Please contact for more information and to see if your dog qualifies!
Bite Nights
Come out for our group training bite nights! Train along side other clients and work on protection training and or competition obedience with your dog. Bite nights are every Wednesday evening starting at 6:30pm. Please contact for more information and to see if your dog qualifies!
Our protection program is designed around the concept of building INTENT. In many other programs intent is almost an afterthought with more emphasis being placed on the technical gripping behaviour and how the dog engages with the bite equipment.
In the system we use here, our goal in the foundation is the same whether we are training a sport, police, or personal protection dog. I want dogs that have real intent in their work not just playing a fun game of tug with equipment.
After the foundation is in place, we begin to focus more on the technicalities related to individual disciplines, but you will be pleasantly surprised to find out these are not difficult to accomplish when you have a rock-solid foundation where the dog learns INTENT. Real protection training is not about wearing cool suits or looking slick catching fast dogs.
THIS TYPE OF TRAINING IS NOT FOR EVERY DOG. We will only train with dogs that have the ability to excel in this work and truly want to do the work. Please contact us to find out if you dog is suitable for protection training!
